Joey King starrer The In Between was released on February 11th, 2022 on Paramount+ . An American romance film by Arie Poshin and a screenplay by Marc Klien. The movie is being added to Netflix on April 8th, 2022 .

The movie is about a teenage girl who seems to still have a connection to her boyfriend after a fatal car crash involving the pair. The opening scene is a traffic accident. Two teenagers lie on the road, the girl barely moving, the male, motionless. Teenager Tessa wakes up in the hospital. In a flashback set 182 days before, Tessa spends the morning taking photos in the coastal town, wandering into the local theatre to watch an old French film. Skylar, there’s another person at the movie, who offers to translate. He is a true romantic, he and Tessa have very different views.

Joey King stars along with Kyle Allen, Kim Dickens, John Ortiz, Celeste O’Connor, Donna Biscoe, and April Parker Jones. Netflix is currently close to Joey King which could be the reason to pick up the international rights to The In Between, considering Netflix acquired international rights to a movie that came out exclusively on a streamer in the US. Other than this, Joey King signed a deal also with Netflix in last year July, to develop new titles under a first-look . One of her upcoming project, Uglies is also coming to Netflix, already done from the filming part in 2021 December. Joey King majorly popular because of The Kissing Booth and its sequels has also appeared in movies like Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Act, The Conjuring(2013) and many more. Kyle Aleen on the other hand, had appeared in West Side Story too and the TV show American Horror Story :Apocalypse.
