Martin Henderson aka Jack Sheridon from Virgin River has been well known for a lot of roles he played throughout his career in movies as well as TV shows. Currently he is playing the character of Jack Sheridon in the Virgin River, owner of a local bar and love interest of Mel Monroe, the protagonist of the Virgin River.
Virgin River show follows the story line of Melinda ‘Mel’ Monroe played by Alexandra Breckenridge, a grieving woman at the loss of her husband and her baby moves into a new town starting her life again as a nurse practitioner. Soon she finds herself struggling making the town her home as she meets Jack Sheridon (Martin Henderson). Jack at that time was involved with Charmaine in a relationship of some sort.
Martin’s character aka Jack Sheridon is owner of local bar, an ex-marine in the show Virgin River. He and Mel hit-it-off after her arrival in the town. As for now, by the end of season 4 they are to be married that if he makes it through the struggles of their relationship. Knowing Mel might be having a baby of her late husband is a complicacy for their love paradise. Martin aka Jack perfectly plays the role of being a tough on the outside but a sensitive person from heart which kind of is a nice chemistry to watch in the show. Henderson while entering Hollywood was motivated by Heath Ledger, his friend, whose indeed financially helped him a lot.
After Ledger’s death in 2008, Henderson left the states for sometime and then returning back, later on telling a New Zealand’s paper that, “Here is someone who had everything, everything you could want. This incredible talent and incredible career in such a short time. And for that to have ended in the way it did was such a shock. For me, existentially, it was ‘what am I doing here’?” The star from the Virgin River show mostly spends his time traveling, with his dog and sailing, that as much can be said by his active Instagram account.
