Locke and Key, based on Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez’s comics did establish itself in the Netflix’s what to watch series list with two seasons so far creating a fanbase. The first season premiered in February 2020, the fantasy horror drama revolves around the murder of Rendell Locke by the hands of his former student and then his wife Nina moving to their family residence in Massachusetts. She and her three children move from Seattle to Rendall’s family home. Soon the kids discover various mysterious keys to different doors unlocking mysterious magical adventures and later realising about a demonic entity who is also in search of those keys.
Filming of Season 3 of Locke and Key has started even before the release of the second season. Since the 2nd season was left with a cliff-hanger, its a breather for the fans to know that we can expect the third season this year. The season 3 of Locke and Key seems to be a little interesting since a lot of things are there to cover for the story. Tyler, played by Connor Jessup shared a post on social media on the wrap of season 3’s filming. He wrote, “that’s a wrap on season 3 of locke & key. after a year of shooting, we’re done. ”
There sure are going to lots of twists in the season 3. Now that we know Nina got the memory key, so now she can remember things which sure is going to be a change in their family. We know Dodge was defeated in the 2nd season but Frederick Gideon has been summoned by Eden who definitely have some other plans. Cuse and Averill explained about how this season is going to be a little more about tough on the family and also how this family is going to face the greatest threat so far. This new season filling up the fans with anticipation after knowing that it’s going to be more adventurous for the family might be worth the wait with a release window of sometime in 2022.
