Netflix’s original series, based on novel You and Hidden Bodies by Sera Gamble has started filming for the fourth season of ‘You’. Netflix renewed You for 4th season just 2 days before the season 3 premiere last year! The romantic crime drama series has started its filming in March. We know so far that in the finale of You season 3 Love and Joe’s relationship came to an end leaving Joe with switching continents only to find Marianne, his next target.
Cast and Plot for Season 4
The set is from Paris which according to Sera Gamble is good for Joe Goldberg played by Penn Badgley as she said, “is great when he’s in an environment that’s not natural to him, that’s foreign to him”. It was Greg Berlanti’s great idea to move the set to Paris which according to gamble is not so familiar place for Joe. Apart from this, Gamble’s desire to explore more places after watching many of the international ‘set’ series on Netflix during the pandemic has gave a greenlit to Berlanti’s idea.
Of course Joe has changed his name, now goes by Nick and is in Paris to find Marianne. It’s not surprising to know how much of a good stalker Joe is, so it won’t take much time for him to find Marianne in Paris, only if she’s there. Besides this, a whole bunch of other mysteries are also hovering over like Marianne’s reaction to Joe’s arrival, Joe’s past life catching up to him, apart from whether Joe will find the one or not, will he stay or leave from Paris to his friend Will Bettelheim in Philippines and many more.
As for the cast, Penn Badgley is definitely our Joe Goldberg, Tati Gabrielle as Marianne Bellamy, Lukas Gage as Adam and Charlotte Ritchie as Kate will be seen in the Season 4 of ‘You’.
