The most anticipated series of Netflix, Virgin River is returning soon with another season. Although the exact release date of the show is not confirmed, the series will knock your screen this year somewhere around August. Based on Robyn Carr’s novel series of the same name, the series follows the story of Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), a nurse who moves to a small town, Virgin River to start a new life, and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), owner of town’s local restaurant and former Us Marine. The series is about the twists and turns in Mel and Jack’s relationship.

Season 3 of Virgin River introduced Jack’s youngest sister, Brie Sheridan (Zibby Allen) whose police detective husband left her for her best friend. She is a 30- year old district attorney who comes to the town to recover from losing a big trial. Jack is shocked to see her and immediately guessed that there is something going on with her. As she returned to Virgin River, she was quickly swept off her feet by Brady (Ben Hollingsworth). However, the writer of the show has modified her character in the show, Brie’s character in the novel is slightly different from that shown in the series. In the season 3 finale, we have already seen that Brady has been arrested for shooting Brie’s brother, Jack in his bar. Season 3 also gives us a sneak peek of the romance between Brie and Detective Mike Valenzuela (Marco Grazzini) who had arrested Brady. Following the events, Brie’s departure from the show is impossible, so we might see more of Brie and Mike’s blossoming romance.

In an interview, Zibby Allen said, “Objectively, I never want to leave her. But we’ll see where she goes from here. I think there’s some real value in the fact that she could be honest with Mel and that friendship is just kicking off. I think those two girls have a lot more to explore in terms of their friendship. I know that, certainly now, Mel could use a girlfriend. I think it’d be a shame for Brie to leave just when she’s starting to form these relationships. I’ll be interested to see what Sue does if we’re lucky enough to get a season 4.”
