Doja Cat has announced that she is quitting music. On March 25th, Doja Cat posted on Twitter that she is done with music and is quitting after she was criticized by fans for not apologising to them as they waited for her performance in Paraguay at the Asuncionico Festival. Doja was reportedly a headliner at the event. The music festival was cancelled by the government of Paraguay due to floods near the concert field. But the fans are still angry that Doja did not apologise to them after the cancellation of her performance.

Other prominent artists such as Miley Cyrus who had their shows lined up did apologise whereas Machine Gun Kelly took a step further by organising a small concert in front of his hotel for his fans. On Twitter, many fake accounts and trolls circulated screenshots which showed Doja liking a tweet which was derogatory against Paraguayans, which further added fuel to the fire. Apart from these screenshots, fans are also mad at “Get Into It” singer for her now-deleted tweets in which she complained that not even a single fan came at her hotel to see her off when she was leaving. This resulted in fans labelling her as “hypocritical”.

As per reports, Doja Cat’s next show will be at Autodromo de Interlagos in Sao Paulo, Brazil. But following her departure, there is uncertainity.
