“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” song from Encanto will be performed in Oscars 2022

The Oscars 2022 is just around the corner with three different hosts Amy Schumer, Wanda Skyes, and Regina Hall. It’s supposed to be the biggest event in 2022 and will be taking place in Los Angeles on Sunday. It will be the first time after the pandemic that the Oscars are happening. Walt Disney’s production animated movie Encanto is nominated in various different categories. “We don’t talk about Bruno” is a song in the movie written by Lin-Manuel Miranda which is going to be performed at the 94th Oscar Event. It will be the first time a song from the movie with the members is going to be performed live at the Oscars. The song is a smashing hit and was trending on apps like Tik-Tok. The song attracted a massive amount of audience after the release of the movie.

The cast of the movie includes Stephanie Beatriz who performed Mirabel Madrigal, Carolina Gaitan, Diane Guerrero, John Leguiza, Adassa and Maura Castilo. The whole cast will be joining in the performance. This will be the first time the whole cast is joining since the movie. Apart from this performance, Encanto has earned nominations in several categories. Dos Oruguitas is nominated for Best Original Song. He is nominated against Beyonce’s ‘Be Alive’ from the film King Richard, Billie Eilish’s ‘No Time to Die’, Reba McEntire’s ‘Somehow You Do’, and Van Morrison’s ‘Down to Joy’ from Belfast The movie also gets a nomination for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Score.

Lin -Manuel Miranda didn’t expect the audience to like the song. He said, “I mean, no one could have predicted the success of the soundtrack, much less that Bruno was going to be the one that popped off.” But the audience actually loved the song and even though it is not nominated for the Oscars it has won the hearts of many people.
