Netflix recently confirmed that there would be another season for the Supernatural Drama ‘Stranger Things’. Netflix also confirmed that season 4 of Stranger Things will be released in two parts in the spring and summer of 2022. Although the details of season 5 are yet to be known.

Matt and Ross Duffer the creators of the show said in a statement: “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but — as you’ll soon see for yourselves — we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last.”

Netflix in a recent post on their Twitter account shared an image in which season 4 was marked with a tagline “Every Ending has Beginning”

Ross Duffers has also previously told the Hollywood Reporter, “Season 4 won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The COVID-19 pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”

There are also rumors that Stranger things will be a movie but there is no confirmation about it. So, it is expected that season 5 will be a series. Talking about will season 5 will be the last Season or not the Duffer Brothers wrote in the Blog(via Variety ) : “There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things: new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes. But first, we hope that you stay with us as we finish this tale of a powerful girl named Eleven and her brave friends, of a broken police chief and a ferocious mom, of a small town called Hawkins and an alternate dimension known only as of the Upside Down.”

Reportadly Duffer Brothers signed a Massive deal with Netflix in 2019 so it kind of makes sense that there will be more seasons of ‘Stranger Things’.
