Netflix highly anticipated show Virgin River has been renewed not just for season 4 but also for season 5. The drama series which has been adapted from the novel series of Robyn Carr is a smashing hit from its very first season which was premiered in December 2019. Although the exact release date of season 4 is still a mystery, Netflix has confirmed that season 4 of the popular romantic drama is on its way. Fans can expect season 4 to drop somewhere around August this year.
Reportedly, the shooting of season 4 has been wrapped up and the series is under post-production. Meanwhile, Alexandra Breckenridge, the lead actress who is playing Melinda Monroe has provided some latest updates on the upcoming season 4. Taking to her Instagram she shared some behind-the-scenes video clips. The actress has also announced in December that she has finished filming her role. Later she also revealed that she had finished ADR (Audio Digital Recording) for the season. ” I just went and finished my last ADR, for Virgin River, for those of you who don’t know what ADR is, I think it stands for Audio Digital Recording.” She added, “So, like, say you’re working outside and there’s a lot of traffic, and we can’t really hear what you’re saying, we have to go in afterward, in post-production, and match our dialogue to the screen in a sound booth.” Although she didn’t mention the release date for the season we can predict that season 4 is around the corner. She also claimed that the post-production for the series was going to start in March but it was delayed due to some unknown reason.
Martin Henderson who is playing Jack also revealed in February this year that he has finished the sound-recording for the series and now the show has been passed under post-production.
