Nicolas Cage as a vampire for the first time ever in ‘ Renfield’

Renfield is a horror, fantasy movie which is set to be released in next year’s April. The film is said to have a comic edge starring Nicolas Cage as Dracula, Nicolas Hoult as Renfield, Awkwafina and Ben Schwartz .

The story follows up as Renfield being Dracula’s henchmen, is ready to move on from his duties of centuries of procuring Dracula’s preys. After centuries of doing the bidding for his master his finally decides to move on but he needs to find out a way to end his co-dependency with his master, the Dracula himself. Chris McKay is the director for the show, produced by Sky bound Entertainment’s Kirkman, David Alpert, Bryan Furst and Sean Furst, along with McKay himself.

The script writing is done by Rick and Morty’s Ryan Ridley, the idea based on The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman. Renfield’s story is quite old if you think about it. In 1897’s Dracula novel, Renfield made his first appearance as an asylum patient who strongly believed that drinking blood would make him immortal. After meeting Dracula, he pledges to him and then does Dracula’s all biddings in exchange for the idea of immortality.

Renfield has become highly anticipated movie since Nicolas Cage is playing the Dracula. Some pictures has been seen from the set of Renfield where Cage was all dolled up as Dracula, with a blood red suit and a sickly paled skin with sleek black hair.
