Netflix romantic-drama series ‘Virgin River’ had been renewed for season 4 back in September last year. The last season of the sitcom was released in July 2021. Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson are the lead characters of the show. The series is based on the successful book series of the same name, by 70-year-old American author Robyn Carr. The show continues to be a massive hit on Netflix. It attracted a huge audience after the release of its second season in November 2020 and the third season in July 2021. The release date of season 4 is still a mystery as the show is still under-production but it is predicted to be released around August this year.

The finale of season 3 of Virgin River has left the audience with many cliffhangers. One of the major cliffhangers which was left unaddressed was about Mel’s (Alexandra Breckenridge) pregnancy. In season 3, Jack wanted to have a baby when Mel got pregnant but it is still confusing who the father of the child is? It can be possible that Mel’s late husband Mark might be the father of the child she is carrying. Another big question that has left the audience wondering in season 3 was about the relationship between Mel and Jack (Martin Henderson). They have broken up for a brief time in Season 3. According to the creator of the show, Sue Tenney, in the upcoming season, the two characters might get married. Almost all of season 3, fans were wondering where is Hope McCrea? Annette O’Toole who is playing the character of Hope wasn’t able to shoot for season 3 because of the Covid but the creator has revealed that the character will appear more this season. All the hints from the creator and the actors of the show are pointing out that the show might get a release date very soon.
