MCU fans are getting impatient and eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. With the release date around the corner, recent updates suggested that the movie is set back for reshoots with Christian Bale who is reportedly playing Gorr, the God Butcher.

Director Taika Waititi in an interview revealed that the shooting of the movie has been delayed due to the pandemic and a lot of work has still left. Earlier this week the reshoots for the movie has begun and no one knows for how long the reshooting will take or if it has been already wrapped up.

As per the reports given by the Comicbook, is just Bale who has gotten back for the second round of photography. Marvel Studios’ head, Kevin Feige has talked about the reshoots and addressed them as an important part of the MCU movies. He continued, “Reshoots are key to our films, starting with Iron Man. We always say we’re smart filmmakers at Marvel, but we’re not geniuses and the best way to give notes on a movie is to watch the movie. So we make the movie and go, ‘Oh yeah, no that’s not right. That doesn’t work,” and have a system now that can be quite precise and efficient. Sometimes one day, sometimes fifteen days, sometimes more to continue to go in and make the move the best it can be.”
