The postmortem report of actor Moses J. Moseley has been released after more than a month. The autopsy has ascertained that “The Walking Dead” actor died from a gunshot wound to the head. Moses J. Moseley, who was 31 years old, passed away this year in January. As per E! News, which has his death certificate, Moseley’s cause of death has been determined to be fatal bullet injury to the head. However, the Henry County Coroner’s report noted that despite his cause of death being established a conclusive verdict on whether he shot himself intentionally or by accident cannot be determined. Moseley was found shot in a parking lot in Georgia by the police.
The examining doctor Rachel Geller wrote in her report, “At the time this report is issued, the information available does not establish suicidal intent, if more information becomes available, this case may be revisited.” The report also noted that apart from his fatal injury Moses J. Moseley was healthy and there were no alcohol or drugs in his system.
A source at Avery Sisters Entertainment confirmed his demise and the company posted a tribute to the actor on their official Facebook page. It read, “With a very heart, we at Avery Sisters Entertainment offer our sincerest and deepest condolences to the family and friends of our actor, Moses J. Moseley. We are truly saddened. For those who knew him, he was the kindest, sweetest, most generous person you would ever meet. We will miss you dearly! Rest in Heaven!”, is the statement given by the entertainment company’s owners Gerra and Demia Avery.
AMC Networks also gave a tribute to the actor, posting a picture of him on Twitter with a caption, “Our thoughts and prayers are with our ‘The Walking Dead’ family member Moses J. Moseley.”

Moseley started his career with modeling and acting in the early 2010s. While doing small roles in popular films such as The Hunger Games(2013), Joyful Noise(2012) and The Internship(2013), for which he didn’t received any credit. He landed his most notable role in AMC’s The Walking Dead. The actor portrayed a pet zombie named Mike who was possessed by Danai Gurira’s character Michonne. Since his appearance in the hit series, Moseley did roles in series such as Queen of the South(2016), Watchmen(2019) and American Soul(2019). His upcoming films are “Hank” and “Descending”, both of which are horror.
