The famous Priyanka Chopra is going to host pre-Oscars event celebrating South Asian Excellence in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. Mindy Kaling and Kumail Nanjiani, Anjali Acharia, Bela Bajaria and Maneesh K will also be co-hosting the event.
The event is organized and sponsored by Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, Johnnie Walker, South Asian Arts Resiliency Fund of the India Center and Juggernaut which is going to be hosted by globally famous PC. Among the special guests for the evening are Rintu Thomas, Sushmit Ghosh and Anurima Bhargava: concluding the writers and producers of “Writing With Fire”, an Indian documentary.
Joseph Patel, Choyning Dorji, Suroosh Alvi, Gulistan Mirzaei, Elizabeth Mirzaei, Aneil Karia and Riz Ahmed are also been announced as the guestes arriving for the event. Priyanka has always spoke about her struggles to secure roles in Hollywood that aren’t stereotyped and also about the lack of involvement of South Asians among the Hollywood family. So it’s is not so surprising to know that she is hosting this event.
Priyanka was last seen in movie The Matrix Resurrections and she had given both Bollywood and Hollywood enormous number of films, each and every one leaving the fans astonished to her acting skills and her flawless beauty. She is truly to be said beauty with the brain and is among one of those who doesn’t take it lightly if someone think of her as slightly less capable based on gender.
In future she’ll be seen in some Hollywood projects like Citadel, Text For You and Ending Things.
