‘Atlanta’ Season 3 Review: A smashing comeback after four years

Atlanta SXSW Premiere

The third season of the American television series ‘Atlanta’ is scheduled to premiere on March 24, 2022. The show will be aired on FX. The season is produced by RBA, 343 Incorporated, MGMT. Season 2 of Donald Glover’s comedy series, Atlanta was released in 2018, a lot has changed since then. The series revolves around the college dropout ‘Earnest (Earn) Marks, played by Glover and music manager rapper Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) as they roamed around the Atlanta rap scene. The series has been renewed for the third and fourth seasons. The third season is set to premiere on March 24, 2022, while the fourth and final season is set to premiere in fall 2022.

Season 3 of Atlanta was originally set to premiere on January, 21 but it has been delayed because of the pandemic. The series was a big hit and felt like a fever dream, now it is back again after four long years. Season 3 starts with Earn who tries to reform himself in the eyes of his ex-girlfriend, Van, who is also the mother of his daughter Lottie. The biggest interruption of season 3 is that Earn and his partners are no longer in Georgia, but have gone to Europe. With the characters on the European your, the writers can craft the story in any way they want to.

Although the environment has changed, the main thing which makes the show a popular hit is its character and its situation. Earn is still struggling to stay encouraged in his life, Van is striving to know her place in the world, Alfred’s star continues to rise, and Daris is just happy to stay blazed for a week straight in Amsterdam. Season 3 of Atlanta proves that it is one of the best-written shows on television. The wild stories, the amazing characters and the narration all makes it one of the funniest shows on television. Even after 4 years, Atlanta remains every bit as comical as it was in season 2.
