Ryan Reynolds starrer The Adam Project is about time traveling, where the Future Adam meets his 12 year old self for amazing adventures. Here’s some facts about The Adam project that went on behind the scenes that you didn’t know.

Since The Adam project started filming during the pandemic time, for the casting of young Adam, Ryan Reynolds did the script reading part with five potential young Adam Reed. Ryan read script lines with these five young actors, improvised over the zoom meetings.

While casting the young Adam, over 376 young actors were auditioned for the role. According to the casting director Carmen Cuba, it is not necessary that the young Adam should exactly match the looks of the adult one but its more of a similarity between the personality of those two. Even if them have the same kind of vibes matched, it would feel like they are the same or they look a lot similar .

Since the pandemic had been postponing the shooting of The Adam Project, it kind of worked as a good thing. Walker Scobell’s audition tape was reached to Cuba till August 2020 and then within November 2020 the shoot for the film begun with Walker Scobell as the young Adam Reed.

Scobell did kind of live every child’s dream. He was Fan of Reynolds since he was 7 years old. He watched the Deadpool and Deadpool 2 the umber of times he doesn’t even remember so playing a role along side your favourite actor is not only a child but everyone’s dream.

Originally the production of The Adam Project begun in 2012 with Tom Cruise as the star before in went in for hell of a development. Then Netflix got its distribution rights. Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds got to know about this while production of Free Guy. The producer David Ellison was so excited about this project that he went over to Ryan’s place to explain all that to him.
