Netflix’s action thriller Extraction’s sequel, a video shared by Chris Hemsworth teases a riot scene. The film Extraction released in 2020 showing last scene as the main lead an injured Tyler Rake a mercenary was left to die. Along with Hemsworth, the director Sam Hargrave has also returned. Sam Hargrave is a former stunt coordinator turned director, previously worked on films like Atomic Blonde, Avengers: Endgame and Suicide Squad.

Once again the sequel, Extraction 2 is written by Joe Russo with the cast that includes Tinatin Dalakishvili, Adam Bessa, Patrick Newall, Rayna Campbell, and Armen Grayg. Details about the film’s plot is yet to be cleared although Hemsworth did share a couple of videos from the set, with him mentioning that Extraction 2 will be ‘bigger and badder’ than the original in terms of stunts and action. Extraction was the biggest Netflix movie ever at the time of its debut, a title that passes on as Netflix releases more original features.

Extraction 2’s filming has been started since several months and the video Hemsworth shared is showing Tyler in some prison like structure with a large group of people behind him engaged in a riot. Hemsworth can be seen as watching the riot rather than be in it as he shared the video captioning, “Just another day on Extraction 2!!” It is certain though that Tyler is not just going to watch that riot and will have some part to play when the time comes.
