The official synopsis for Young Sheldon‘s upcoming 100th episode reveals the guest star who will appear in the milestone outing. The Big Bang Theory’s spin-off is currently on its final stretch but before its wrap up, the sitcom is going to celebrate an important milestone of 100 episodes after 5 years. This is a rare feat nowadays for the network shows so the fans are expecting some big surprise from the CBS sitcom.

Premiered in 2017, the series was on air running along side with the Big Bang Theory for two years. Then in 2019 the parent series ended making the spin off sitcom stand on its own. It is CBS’s premiere comedy attracting millions of viewers every week while it still hasn’t reached the level of popularity that the original show enjoyed.

With this, Young Sheldon Season 5 episode 17 synopsis from Futon Critic has already been revealed, titled as, “A Solo Peanut, a Social Butterfly and the Truth,” which features the return of Sheldon’s child prodigy competitor- McKenna Grace’s Paige. It’s been a while since the fans saw the character as she doesn’t appear regularly although it’s always a fun time when she makes a comeback.

According to the official CBS’s brief, Paige will appear asking Sheldon for an odd favor, as to what it is might be a guess at this point. Also Georgie will be seen as coming clean about his real age to his girlfriend Mandy. It can be remembered that he lied about being a 21 years old while he’s just 17 and she’s almost 30. Meanwhile Meemaw and Dale’s spilt will put Mary and George in an awkward situation as they get caught in the middle. Although they are not part of the split-up, this might put them in a position to face their own relationship troubles.

While for another guest surprise is yet unknown considering the milestone outing for the sitcom sounds jampacked. So it might be best for the show to just focus on the narrative for now rather than any other big surprises.
