Stephanie Beatriz voiced for Disney’s latest animated musical hit film called “Encanto”. She recorded her dialogues and songs while the screenplay was being prepared for some years. There is one recording she remembers and it is making headlines. In an interview recently, Beatriz said that she was in labor while recording her hit song “Waiting On a Miracle” and she didn’t tell anyone about this. She said, “I didn’t want to tell anybody at Disney because I didn’t want anyone to freak out. I was already having some contractions when we were scheduled to record that day. I was like, ‘Well, fingers crossed I finish the song before the baby comes!”‘ She named her daughter Rosaline Hoss.

Next day Stephanie Beatriz gave birth to her first child. On April 22, 2021, she posted a picture with her daughter on Instagram. The director of Encanto, Byron Howard, said in an interview with Variety, “We knew Beatriz was very, very, very ready to have that baby. But she did not tell us she was almost, almost ready.” The Brooklyn Nine Nine actor said she disappeared into the role and this role was the “most like me”.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, as per an article on Variety, joked that Beatriz “was singing ‘Waiting on a miracle’ while waiting for her personal miracle”.

Encanto is a beautiful animated music-fantasy film which focuses on the adorable Madrigal family. Even people who are not into animated cinema, liked it. Film’s story is: After a tragic accident, Abuela Alma Madrigal has been bestowed with a miracle in her candle which provides a haven to her family in a magical house and five decades later, the Madrigals are a respectable family. The members of Madrigal kin posses superpowers. In Encanto, Colombian culture was represented. It has been nominated for Academy Awards in three categories such as best animated feature film, best original song and best original score.
