Following the end of the popular mystery-drama series Riverdale with its fifth season, in December and the series hitting its milestone 100th episode, the show is finally ready to come back with season 6. After a mid-season break, the show is finally going to return in March with brand new episodes. Riverdale Season 6 part 2 will be released on Sunday, March 20, 2022. The episodes will be weekly released on Wednesday on Netflix UK. The first half of season 6 was premiered on CW on November 16, 2021. Season 6, part 2 is filled with a number of twists and turns. Riverdale’s Helmer Roberto Aguirre -Sacasa promises that the show will explore the romance between Archie (KJ Apa) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) in season 6.
The last season ended with Archie and Betty receiving a life-saving phone call in regards to the bomb under Archie’s bed and Archie’s house exploding. Riverdale Season 6 started with a five-episode event known as ‘Rivervale’. But when it will be released in March, Riverdale will return to its titular town. When asked to the showrunner Roberto Aguirre -Sacasa whether Archie and Betty would actually be in a romantic relationship, he promised the viewers that they will be seeing more of Betty and Archie in a fuller way than ever before. He also said that the fans have already shipped the pair under the title ‘Barchie’.”It’s a pertinent question because it feels like we’ve flirted with the idea of Betty and Archie. Again, when we resumed in Riverdale, we kind of realized we’ve actually never really, really explored what it would be like for them together over a longish haul.
