Moon Knight starring “Oscar Issac“, is an American action television series streaming on Disney+ on March 30, 2022, and will run for six episodes, concluding on May 4. It is considered to be the sixth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The series is based on the Marvel Comics fictional character ‘Moon Knight’. Issac is playing Marc Spector, Moon Knight, an avaricious who suffers from a psychological dissociative identity disorder and received the powers of an Egyptian God. The first reaction of the show reveals that the show is original and unique. Many have appreciated the performance of Oscar Issac and he portrays the different personalities of Moon Knight. The mental disorder plays a very important role in the show, “I think it was just about being honest to what Disassociative with Identity Disorder is, and honest to what a lot of people have to deal with, which is really intense childhood trauma and how that manifests as an adult. I think for us it was about authenticity, more than even story communication”, Issac commented.

Moon Knight might be the most anticipated series of the season as no one has ever heard of the hero, even star Oscar Issac has admitted that he had never heard of the character before. Those on Disney Plus who have watched the show said that the show is excellent and praised the mesmerizing performance of Oscar Issac. ‘What’s on Disney Plus’ tweeted, ” I’ve watched the first 4 episodes of marvel Moon knight & it’s unlike anything we’ve seen in the MCU. Oscar Issac is fantastic! I can’t wait to watch the rest of the stories. This isn’t your typical superhero origin. It’s excellent! It arrives on Disney Plus on March 30th.”

The movie also stars ‘Ethan Hawke’ as ‘Arthur Harrow’ and ‘May Calamawy’ as ‘Layla’. Hawke makes his MCU debut with the film. Hawke said, “It’s especially interesting to take your hero and present him with a real source of pain in mental illness. It’s no joke. He’s a guy who’s really struggling, and it’s very interesting to have a protagonist who s in a tremendous amount of pain and who is not a classic hero.”
