Two of the most admired actors of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone team up for the first time in a film. They will be seen sharing the screen for the first time with each other. The movie ‘Fighter’ was supposed to release in theatres on January 26, 2023. However, now the movie will be scheduled to release on September 28, 2023. The film was first announced in 2021 on Hrithik’s birthday. To see the two actors work together for the first time in a movie is a dream come true for many of their fans.
About The Movie
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter will be India’s first aerial action franchise. The movie will be produced by Viacom 18 Studios, Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande. The film portrays the sacrifice and patriotism of our army and pays a tribute to their bravery. It will be a large-scale production movie and will upgrade the face of Indian action movies. In an interview, Siddharth Anand said that with this movie he aim to put a global audience to love Indian action movies. The film will be a third collabration of Director Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan as earlier they collaborated in ‘Bang Bang’ starring Katrina Kaif and ‘War’ starring Tiger Shroff. the shooting of the movie was supposed to start in June this year. Along with Hrithik and Deepika in lead roles, Anil Kapoor also plays a role in the film.
Earlier the movie’s release date was clashing with John Abraham’s ‘Tehran’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’, therefore it has been scheduled for a new release date next year in September. Hrithik Roshan on March 10, shared a post on his Twitter handles informing fans about the new release date. He wrote ‘September 28th…2023, along with a short video.
The actors will start shooting for the movie from june this year after wrapping up their prior movie commitments. Hrithik is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha with Saif Ali khan which will be release on September 30 this year. on the other hand, Deepika Padukone is currently shooting for her upcoming movie Project K.
