Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sensharma, two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, have teamed together for a Netflix original named Soup. Netflix announced the news with behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the next series.
Soup, directed by Abhishek Chaubey and starring Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sensharma, is a Netflix-backed comedy-crime drama. The series’ first look was shown, along with behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot. “We’re watching Swathi and Prabhakar stir up some chaos in Soup,” Netflix commented. Netflix (sic) will be available shortly.”

The comedy-crime drama series is partially based on the actual tale of Swathi Shetty (Konkona), an inept cook who dreams of one day running her own restaurant. Prabhakar (Manoj Bajpayee), her ever-suspicious husband, isn’t supportive of her ambitions and has his own reservations. When Swathi begins to churn out a grand plan that doesn’t take off, the tale takes a turn. So, what’s next? To find out, you’ll have to wait.
