The next season of Netflix’s smash gang drama Top Boy, which premieres on March 18, has been given a sneak peek.
Ashley Walters and Kano, as well as Micheal Ward and Little Simz, who just won a Brit award for Best New Artist, will reprise their roles.
After Channel 4 canceled the critically praised drama, it was relaunched on Netflix in 2019 with rapper Drake as an executive producer.
Drake earlier stated that he wants to resurrect the program because it reminded him of his childhood in Toronto.
“It’s just mad that we’re here again init,” Walters, who portrays main protagonist Dushane Hill, says in the teaser clip published on Tuesday.

“I’ve got a link between Spain and Morocco that’s about to materialize in a big way.” “People want to get high, that’s life,” says the narrator. “More money than we’ve ever seen in real life.”
“We’ve got a problem, I need someone to go out there and fix it,” he says later in the video, before adding, “family is everything.”
Walters is shown in the video interacting with Jasmine Jobson, who was nominated for a Bafta for her role as Jaq in Netflix’s blockbuster series.
“I can’t have people come around the block and stab one of our youngest,” Walters adds. “Jaq, go to work man.”

“I’m on it,” Jobson adds as she walks through a nightclub in an alleyway with her hood up.
“I will ride out for her until the end, because that is what you do for your family,” she says later in the video.
“You do what you have to, to protect the people that you love,” Little Simz says in the teaser.
On March 18, a new season of Top Boy will premiere on Netflix.
