All four seasons, totalling 44 episodes, will be available on Netflix in the United States on March 31st. The Lionsgate Television series was published exclusively on Hulu between 2015 and 2018 and is widely regarded as one of the hidden treasures of the massive Hulu catalog.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the first season of Casual still has a certified fresh rating, with the full season receiving a 92 percent critic score and an 89 percent audience score.
The sitcom revolves on a bachelor brother and his newly divorced sister reuniting under one roof.

The comedic sitcom stars Michaela Watkins, Tommy Dewey, Tara Lynne Barr, Nyasha Hatendi, and Julie Berman. Zander Lehmann developed Casual, which was produced by Jason Reitman, Zander Lehmann, Helen Estabrook, and Liz Tigelaar.
The most perplexing question is why a Hulu Original is moving to Netflix. It isn’t entirely out of the usual. We’ve seen certain Hulu titles come to Netflix worldwide because Hulu isn’t global.
Castle Rock, for example, was sold to specific Netflix areas, and films such as Mother/Android were sold to Netflix outside of the United States.
However, we have yet to see a significant Hulu Original series or film appear on Netflix US.

The reason for this is because Hulu only had exclusive distribution rights for a limited time. Lionsgate Television owns the show outright and hence controls its streaming destiny.
Of course, Lionsgate Television has already developed exclusive episodes for Netflix. They’ve made Dear White People and, more recently, Orange is the New Black. Could this mean that one or both of those series will disappear or be shared with other streaming services in the future? We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
It doesn’t appear so. It is not scheduled to be withdrawn from Hulu in March 2022. Instead, we anticipate that the series will be distributed via Hulu and Netflix (and other possible streamers in the future).
