The Russo Bros. have typically created and/or coordinated action-arranged live-action content like Extraction, 21 Bridges, and several Marvel Cinematic Universe titles. Superfudge will mark the primary animated film the sibling couple have developed and delivered together. Presently, they are wrapping up creation and directorial obligations on The Gray Man, starring Captain America: Civil War star Chris Evans. They are also creating the continuation of Extraction with individual Avengers alumni Chris Hemsworth.
Disney has been rapidly ramping up creation on various original movies and television shows for their Disney+ streaming platform. With Superfudge being based on just one of several titles in the same book series, the streamer may decide to adapt future movies or shows based on Blume’s popular series of books. Although it is still too soon to determine what the property’s future with Disney+ will be, it is an encouraging sign that such a high-profile team like the Russo Bros. are collaborating on the current venture.
Disney Branded Television’s President Ayo Davis announced the Disney+ movie project with Avengers: Endgame chiefs the Russo Bros. as makers during the Television Critics Association’s Winter Press Tour. It is being created by the Russo Brothers’ company, AGBO, and composed by Amos Vernon and Nunzio Randazzo. Vernon and Nunzio as of late composed the screenplay for Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.
One of Judy Blume’s top of the line youngsters’ books, Superfudge, is currently being developed by Disney’s streaming platform as an animated film created by Joe and Anthony Russo. The Superfudge kids’ novel was distributed in 1980 and is a continuation of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, making it the third passage in the Fudge series. The property was previously adapted as a TV series named Fudge and aired from 1995 to 1997.
