New Images From Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Reveals Reunite Q with Jean-Luc

The photos will undoubtedly generate greater excitement for the return of Q to Star Trek. The second season’s promotional material has given an obscure outline of the plot, but there’s still plenty to speculate on especially with Q included. Q will send Picard and his recently shaped group to an alternate reality described as a “totalitarian nightmare” where they should sort out some way to restore it to its appropriate status. Notwithstanding, audiences who recollect The Next Generation will presumably be suspicious of Q’s always mysterious motivations, and whether or not they’re as malevolent as they initially seem.

Q won’t be the main character from TNG to make a return in Star Trek: Picard season 2, as Whoopi Goldberg’s Guinan is affirmed to join the cast. Whether or not she will just have an appearance, an entire episode, or be a central character is still hazy, but her presence is sure to hint at more profound mysteries. Ultimately, more about Q’s plans in the show should wait until Star Trek: Picard’s second season releases on March third, 2022.

Presently, in new photos from Star Trek: Picard season 2 released by Paramount +, a closer look at the gathering between Picard and his old adversary is seen. The images show a more established Q confronting Picard, with the ex-Starfleet Captain looking distressed and furious. The images seem to show the confrontation taking spot in Picard’s chateau, which was a central location in the beginning phases of the show’s first season.

New images from Star Trek: Picard season 2 show a greater amount of Jean-Luc Picard and Q’s upcoming get-together. The first season of Star Trek: Picard saw the hotly anticipated return of Jean-Luc Picard, previously Captain of the USS Enterprise and presently a retired Admiral. Picard, who is played by British actor Patrick Stewart, was the lead of the now notorious sci-fi series Star Trek: The Next Generation. The series followed on from the first series of Star Trek as a response to the popularity it acquired while in broadcast syndication. The Next Generation’s success then went on to generate more Star Trek sequel (and prequel) series, and since TNG’s first episode broadcasted in 1987, Star Trek has had an almost permanent presence on TV.
