In a press release, Warner Bros. described The Fallout as “a convincing investigation of the mystifying resiliency of life and the expectation that emerges out of loss.” The film won the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award for Narrative Feature at the 2021 South by Southwest Film Festival, and Park’s screenplay won the festival’s Brightcove Illumination Award. Notwithstanding Ortega and Ziegler, the film also stars Niles Fitch and Will Ropp, with John Ortiz, Julie Bowen, and Shailene Woodley, who appears to depict Vada’s therapist. Finneas O’Connell, who teamed up with his sister Billie Eilish on the No Time to Die theme, composed the film’s unique score. The Fallout’s soundtrack also features a unique song composed and performed by Maisy and Lennon Stella.

Another trailer for The Fallout teases essayist chief Megan Park’s first time at the helm, set to stream on HBO Max starting January 27. Park, best known for her job on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager as Grace Bowman, coordinated the film from her own screenplay. The Fallout stars Jenna Ortega and Maddie Ziegler, who as of late starred in Scream (2022) and West Side Story (2021), respectively.

Now, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the new trailer for The Fallout. The trailer depicts a startling bond that forms between Vada (Ortega) and Mia (Ziegler) in the outcome of a school shooting that occurs while the two characters stow away in a restroom. Albeit the characters aren’t friends at The Fallout’s onset, Vada seeks out Mia’s organization in the awful accident’s outcome. The events that follow set the two teenagers on another way as Vada reexamines her relationships with her family, friends, and her general surroundings. Look at the trailer underneath:
