The Batman’s trailers have weakened a large part of the wariness encompassing Pattinson’s Batman, yet there’s still a great deal riding on his performance, particularly considering he is the third big-screen Batman in 10 years. Fortunately, Kravitz’s Selina Kyle/Catwoman appears to be ready to assist with conveying the film. From their new interpretation of vigilantism to an unrecognizable Farrell and Dano’s strange Riddler, who has scarcely been displayed in the trailers, The Batman is stacked. What’s more, the film is supposed to prod other notable scoundrels like Two-Face and, obviously, the Joker, setting up the two Reeves’ unavoidable set of three and the two HBO Max spinoffs zeroed in on the Gotham Police Department and Penguin starting points.

While his face, plan, and inspirations stay hush-hush, the Riddler is The Batman’s primary scoundrel. The Batman is set to exist outside the primary progression of the DC Extended Universe and acquaint a large number of characters with its pocket universe.
