King’s Man filmmaker Matthew Vaughn has outlined what fans can anticipate from Kingsman 3. There has been talk about a third Kingsman picture for a long time, so it was a surprise when Vaughn, the director of all previous Kingsman films, decided to start on The King’s Man first.

During World War I, the prequel is set in the early 1900s in the United States. In this film, Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson star as the Kingsman secret service’s first members.

Details on the plot of Kingsman 3
As early as 2017, it was announced that Kingsman: The Blue Blood will be the third Kingsman film, after Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Vaughn has stated that production would begin in September of next year for the third picture, which was meant to be shot concurrently with The King’s Man.

Seven more Kingsman films with Vaughn were also mentioned by Marv Group CEO Zygi Kamasa late last year. Additional films have yet to be announced, however “Statesman,” the American counterpart of Kingsman, is reportedly being developed for television as a spin-off series.

When promoting The King’s Man, Vaughn was eager to talk about the impending third Kingsman film with Collider. Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) will be explored in greater depth, according to him (Colin Firth).

When asked if the third film will challenge their relationship, he replied, “It’s going to put it to the test in a whole new manner.”

The full language of his quote reads:

“Of course, Eggsy and Harry [are] in it.” But the gang is reuniting, and it’s one of those moments that makes you realise… Okay, I noticed how much people liked Eggsy and Harry while we were writing the screenplay. Is there anything more we could think of that would cause them to either fall in love or despise each other forever? So, let’s just say, this movie is about whether they will or won’t.

Eggsy and Harry were the two most important characters in the previous two Kingsman films, so it’s no surprise that they’ll return for the third.

He inducted Eggsy into the same secret agency that Eggsy’s dad worked for in the previous film, and the two became close friends. Harry and Eggsy’s relationship grew, but the film’s villain Valentine seemed to have slain Harry just as it was blossoming (Samuel L. Jackson). Reviving Harry’s spirit, the Golden Circle revealed that Harry’s life was saved through modern technology.
