An widely awaited 4K box set collection including the next instalment of Ghostbusters will be wrapped in a ghost trap after Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Reitman’s Ghostbusters sequel has surpassed the $100 million mark in its domestic box office debut. Actor Dan Aykroyd has indicated that Ghostbusters: Afterlife and the original Ghostbusters crew may one day collaborate, making a fan’s collection of Ghostbusters merchandise more valuable.
Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection is being sold at Walmart, which is renowned as the go-to place for collectors of Ghostbusters memorabilia. Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife are all included in the 8-disc gift set, as well as Blu-ray, cover art, and digital downloads.
The Making of Ghostbusters, a rare and highly sought-after book on the making of the original Ghostbusters film, will also be included. There is an annotated version of each of the film’s scripts in the book, which was initially released in 1985.
Retailing for $88.99 on Walmart’s website, the collection is anticipated to be released in February of next year. The 2016 Ghostbusters: Answer the Call is not included in the package, despite the fact that it was marketed as the definitive collection. However, the discs two and three remain a mystery. Aside from the cover art, which shows white outlines of Spengler’s Neutron Wand and Proton Pack, which many believe to be special supplementary contents or features, there are no official details concerning the following two CDs. The film Ghostbusters: Afterlife is now playing in theatres.
