Everything you need to know about Spider-Man 4 is here

In the post-Avengers: Endgame world, the expectations put on Marvel movies increased exponentially, and No Way Home’s massive scope is a testament to the need to attempt to outperform the MCU’s Infinity Saga. That it has achieved such a success is astonishing, yet presently attention turns to what Sony and Marvel can do next with this person. This is what we are familiar Spider-Man 4 and how No Way Home possibly sets up Tom Holland’s future as Spider-Man.

The closest Sony or Marvel must a confirmation that Tom Holland will return as Spider-Man in the MCU came courtesy of Sony’s Amy Pascal, who enthusiastically spoke up plans for more Spider-Man content in an interview with Fandango: “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting prepared to make the following Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and presently we’re going to go onto the following three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.” Pascal has subsequently strolled those comments back, suggesting that if it was dependent upon her, Sony and Marvel Studios’ partnership will push ahead. Past that, Spider-Man 4 is still unconfirmed, despite how likely it is that Marvel and Sony will both be quick to cooperate to bring more Spider-Man MCU content past the current plans. The merchandising sales Disney can depend on from the person alone will represent some of that enthusiasm, and Spidey is ostensibly still the MCU’s most attractive person.

Sony might not have offered substantial plans for Spider-Man 4 yet, however there has been confirmation of something like another Spider-Man MCU appearance. At the No Way Home premiere in Los Angeles, Sony Pictures’ Tom Rothman confirmed that there is still somewhere around one MCU crossover on the agenda:

Everything you need to know about Spider-Man 4 is here 2

We loan one, then they loan one, and that is the manner by which Benedict is in this movie, so we have one more loan back that is committed.

Assuming Spider-Man 4 follows on from the usual pattern of releasing Spider-Man movies to capitalize on the brand force of the person, a release date of the finish of 2023 would fit. That might seem early, however Marvel does have 2 declared properties in the second 50% of 2023, and leaving too big a hole between Spider-Man movies would not appear to be legit. Assuming one of those movies is the promised crossover occasion that Sony has loaned Holland’s Spider-Man for, it’s possible that Spider-Man 4 could slip into mid 2024. Until further notice, there’s no firm confirmation, so following point of reference is the main hint.
