The tenth film in the ‘Fast & Furious’ series will be released in May 2023, but it will take a detour on route. This long-running celebration of fast vehicles, daring stunts, and family will have its tenth iteration on May 19, 2023, according to Variety.

Following its original April 7, 2023 release date, this new release date places the “Fast & Furious” sequel squarely in the summer blockbuster season.Universal Pictures is launching an unnamed animated film to fill the void left by Dom Toretto and the firm. As previously mentioned, the new date is March 24, 2023.

Only the fact that it’s from the same studio as ‘Shrek’ and that it promises to be a show are the only specifics available at this time. Moviegoers may see the ninth instalment in the ‘Fast & Furious’ series last summer with the release of ‘F9.’ As a result of the weak ticket sales for Covid, the worldwide gross for this picture was only $726 million.

Justin Lin, who helmed the franchise’s eighth film and numerous others before it, is back in the director’s chair. There will be no new cast members in the tenth chapter of ‘Fast & Furious,’ but there will be some familiar faces returning.

During the summer of 2013, the most recent “Fast & Furious” film, “F9,” was released in theatres. Because to the poor ticket sales for COVID-19, it only grossed $726 million globally, which is still a remarkable number. There has been a steady stream of sequels and spinoffs since the first chapter of the series was released two decades ago.

It’s a return to the helm for Justin Lin, who helmed the ninth film in the series as well as numerous previous flicks. The ninth instalment of the “Fast” franchise will see the return of Vin Diesel, Sung Kang, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Rodriguez, and other familiar faces. Crashing cars, odometers going over the limit, and Vin Diesel waxing eloquent about the importance of family are all things that are practically likely to happen.
