Alec Baldwin has deactivated one of his two verified Twitter accounts, only days after giving an emotional interview on ABC in which he spoke for the first time about the fatal shooting on the set of Rust.

As of Sunday evening, Baldwin’s verified @alecbaldwin account on Twitter was no longer active. Following the Oct. 21 on-set incident in which Baldwin killed Rust’s cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza, the actor used that account to make his first formal comment. “There are no words to express my sorrow and anguish over the horrible tragedy that claimed the life of Halyna Hutchins, our colleague’s wife, mother, and deeply loved colleague. “I’m fully assisting with the police inquiry into how this tragedy transpired,” Baldwin said on Twitter, using the account @alecbaldwin.

The actor’s verified Twitter account, @alecbaldwin__, is still active, although it hasn’t tweeted since October 19. Other Twitter accounts linked to Baldwin have gone dark or been set to private, with the actor’s foundation (@ABFalecbaldwin) and his wife’s account (@HilariaBaldwin) restricting access to approved followers only since early November, after Baldwin retweeted Rust crew member Terese Magpale Davis’ statement denying an unsafe work environment on the set.

As of Sunday evening, both Baldwin’s and Hilaria Baldwin’s Instagram profiles were still active.

Baldwin’s representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Hollywood Reporter. Baldwin offered Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos a full history of exactly what happened the day of the shooting on Dec. 2, in his first sit-down interview since the massacre, and broke down in tears while recalling Hutchins. Baldwin informed Stephanopoulos that he didn’t want to wait until the litigation or investigations were finished before sharing his side of the story.
