Why Ian Somerhalder Was Being Jealous Of Chris Wood’s Kai Parker?

Ian Somerhalder, who played Damon Salvatore on TVD, actually talked about his character and why he was envious of Chris Wood’s Kai Parker. The Vampire Diaries may have shut in 2017 yet we have all found that a Vampire, and especially Damon Salvatore, doesn’t die. The eight-season-long supernatural fantasy sensation that created two other productive spinoffs, one of them (Legacies) still on the air, highlighted Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder in the lead occupations.

Aficionados of The Vampire Diaries will consistently recollect Kai Parker, by and large considered as one of the most villainy villains of the show. Chatting on episode 6 of EW’s Binge podcast, Ian Somerhalder talked about his character Damon improving as an individual through season 3 of TVD, saying:

I was so upset concerning the course of Damon. So much that at one point I was reclining across from [executive producer] Julie [Plec] in her office in Atlanta basically in tears so furious with respect to this.

While EP and creator Julie Plec close by her co-creator Kevin Williamson revealed to the performer that Damon was a more convoluted character, being the reprobate every so often and being a saint at various events. She explained how she didn’t require Damon to be a “one trick pony” and simply be a villain. Nonetheless, Somerhalder explains how this was absolutely what made him envious of Chris Wood’s Kai Parker, saying:

That is the explanation I was for the most part so charmed by the thing Chris Wood was doing on screen, because as of recently, there was never a character in the show, other than Stefan in the Ripper age, that truly had the option to not be so certified, to do repulsive things anyway do it happily.

Chris Wood, who was in like manner a piece of the podcast, furthermore talked about his character and his inspiration for playing Kai Parker.
