The mystery of one of the infamous blue gingham dresses that was worn by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz has finally been handled. The infamous Judy Garland’s dress was actually found ensuing to disappearing more than forty years earlier. During the 1970s, the dress was capable to the Catholic University of America and the former head of the drama division, Father Gilbert Hartke. Regardless, it is said that the dress went peculiarly missing just a year after its coming at the Washington, D.C., grounds.
Lately, Matt Ripa, a lecturer at the American university, actually tracked down the old outfit inside a trash bag. In an article published on June 20, 2021, Ripa explained, “I saw on top of the faculty mailboxes a trash bag and mentioned that my partner hand it to me”. “On the trashbag was a note for our former chair communicating that he had found ‘this’ in his office and that he presumably moved it when he moved out of the chair’s office… “. He added, “I was intrigued what was inside and opened the trash bag and inside was a shoebox and inside the shoebox was the dress!! I could scarcely deal with it”.
The operations coordinator for the drama division, Matt Ripa, composed that he promptly recuperated gloves so he could break down the dress preceding conveying it to the reported office at the university. He wrapped up his article, “Clearly, I have found many interesting things concerning the Hartke during my time at CUA, anyway I think this one takes the cake”.
