Twelve time Grammy winner Taylor Swift took to Instagram stories on Thursday to announce that four of her previously unreleased songs will be dropping at midnight. The announcement comes ahead of the singer’s first tour in over 5 years.

The songs that will be released include ‘Eyes Open (Taylor’s Version)’, ‘Safe & Sound (featuring Joy Williams and John Boy) (Taylor’s Version)’, ‘If This Was A Movie (Taylor’s Version)’ and ‘All Of The Girls You Loved Before (Taylor’s Version)’.

“In celebration of The Eras Tour I’m releasing 4 previously unreleased songs tonight at midnight,” The Global Icon wrote.

The fans (Swifties) took to socials to express their excitement. “We are getting the re-recorded versions of some of Taylor Swift’s best songs ever tonight and I’m having trouble processing it,” wrote a twitter user. “I’m just so happy I feel like I’ll throw up,” wrote another.

Arizona City Changes Name To Celebrate Taylor Swift’s Upcoming Tour

Taylor Swift’s first show of ‘The Era’s Tour’ is set to take place in Glendale, Arizona. On Monday, municipal authorities declared that the name of the city would be changed temporarily to Swift City as a tribute to Taylor Swift.

“We want people to know Glendale, Arizona, we are the sports and entertainment district, not just in the Valley but in the state of Arizona,” stated the Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers. “I couldn’t be more proud to be the mayor of the city that’s done such an incredible job — if you look at 10 years ago and then look at today, it’s almost a tale of two different cities with the same name,” He added.

According to Glendale authorities, highway billboards will feature celebratory messages and Westgate Entertainment District establishments will offer themed menus and other enjoyable activities to commemorate the occasion. “A lot of bars and restaurants in our area will be offering Taylor Swift-themed menu items,” stated Jessica Mensch who works for the City. “The Lola will have themed cocktails. Lumberjaxes Axe Throwing bar will have specials for Swifties, so it’s not just a party in the stadium — it’s a party throughout our entire sports and entertainment district.”

The ‘Artist of the Decade’ will kick off her ‘Eras’ tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17 and 18.
