The performance of “Naatu Naatu” at the Oscars will be a live rendition by Lauren Gottlieb, who was the runner-up in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa. The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles hosted the awards ceremony on March 12 (March 13 in India), and Kaala Bhairava, Rahul Sipligunj, and choreographer Prem Rakshith were present at the event and part of the memorable performance.

It is important to mention that Resul Pookutty and A.R. Rahman were previously awarded the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing and Best Original Score, correspondingly, for the song “Jai Ho” featured in the 2008 movie Slumdog Millionaire. Once again, India has achieved a historic moment!

Ram Charan discussed the popular song Naatu Naatu during an interview with Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso. He mentioned that the song is not just for entertainment purposes, but rather each sequence in SS Rajamouli’s movies is well thought out. Ram Charan believes that the song was able to reach the Oscars because of its emotional and dramatic elements. He emphasized the camaraderie and brotherhood between the two lead actors, Charan and Jr NTR, and how they represent yin and yang, which made the song truly special.
