The showrunner of The Boys, Eric Kripke, has shared an exciting update about the upcoming fourth season. As the popular Prime Video series is scheduled to begin in August 2022, there have been a few sneak peeks of what to expect. The latest set photos for The Boys season 4 indicate that some familiar characters will be returning, and there will be plenty of violent and gory scenes, especially for A-Train.
There were previous indications that filming for the show was supposed to wrap up by March 2023, and a recent update has confirmed that the production is progressing as planned.

The Boys season 3 concluded with a concerning suggestion that Ryan may follow in the footsteps of his villainous father, Homelander. In a disturbing scene, Ryan appeared to be pleased with Homelander’s brutal killing of a protester, which was met with applause from the crowd. As we look ahead to season 4, it has been announced that actor Cameron Crovetti will have an expanded role as Ryan, now a series regular. Additionally, the cast will be bolstered by new additions such as Valorie Curry, who will play Firecracker, and Susan Heyward, who will portray Sister Sage.
Apart from the superpowered characters, The Boys season 4 will feature a reunion of sorts for its creator, Eric Kripke, who previously worked on the show Supernatural. Actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Rob Benedict, who had recurring roles on Supernatural, are set to make appearances in the upcoming season. Additionally, Rosemarie DeWitt has been cast in the role of Hughie’s mother. Although there is no exact release date for the new season yet.
