The latest set photo from the upcoming two-part Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning movies suggests that the film will feature Top Gun-inspired aerial stunts. Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Ethan Hunt, along with Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Rebecca Ferguson returning as their respective characters. New cast members include Hayley Atwell as Grace and Esai Morales as the antagonist.
Recently, Christopher McQuarrie, the director of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, shared a photo on social media from the film’s set, which suggests that the movie will feature aerial stunts similar to Top Gun. In the picture, a camera operator inside an aircraft is seen using a monitor to observe another airplane during an action sequence at a high altitude. The technician appears to be manipulating an external camera to film a tilt-rotor aircraft featured in the scene.

Tom Cruise is known for his desire for realism in the action-adventure movies he stars in, resulting in some of the most genuine and risky stunts ever depicted on screen.
