Exclusive: Writer of Ant-Man 3 and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty Jeff Loveness previews the arrival of more potent Kang variations with “omnipotent abilities.”

After Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quatumania, writer Jeff Loveness promises Kang variations with more lethal abilities. With Ant-Man and the Wasp, Kang made his formal MCU debut; Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will continue his tale with Quantumania and Loveness. Kang is a time traveler and highly strong Nexus Being with connections to the multiverse that very few others have.

Loveness indicated that Kang will eventually get more “omnipotent powers” in an exclusive chat with Screen Rant. He compared Loki’s debut in Thor to Kang’s in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Loveness also made a clue about the nature of these new abilities and how destructive the Kang variations may become.

What Risks Could The Other Kang Variants Possess?

Characters that appeared to be no match for the formidable antagonist vanquished He Who Remains and Kang the Conqueror. In order to create Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Universe of Madness, Sylvie, a Loki variation, destroyed He Who Remains and tore open the multiverse. Kang the Conqueror was vanquished by Ant-Man and Wasp, but each of these versions attempted to warn his foes of a much greater threat: their own variants. Kang lacks superhuman abilities in the comics, but his technology is so sophisticated that it mimics them.

The Council of Kangs is interested in the “primary” chronology of the MCU, particularly in light of Kang the Conqueror’s defeat and subsequent exile. Loveness has hinted at powers the Council of Kangs possess that the previous two variations couldn’t, setting them up to be much more deadly. As a Nexus, Kang Beings possess multiversal abilities and time travel that haven’t been fully investigated. Even though Kang the Conqueror didn’t follow through on his threats, he did make some amazing promises that gave some indication of his abilities.

In comparison to the universes he destroyed, the thought of murdering Cassie and letting Scott relive the event repeatedly seems like a trivial parlor trick. His main weapons are his time-traveling prowess, intelligence, and variations. He can employ futuristic technology, has a large army of varieties, and attacks at any moment. If Kang the Conqueror from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and He Who Remains from Loki are the lesser iterations of this antagonist, the future iterations will be a true threat to the MCU heroes.
