The current hottest dating show on Netflix is Perfect Match, which features well-known individuals from other popular reality shows such as Too Hot To Handle, The Circle, and Love Is Blind. In this program, the participants strive to form romantic bonds with one another every night in pursuit of finding their ideal partner. They take compatibility assessments every day, and the couple that scores the highest is rewarded with a lavish date. They also have the opportunity to select two new contestants to date with those already present in the villa.
The initial four episodes of the show, which premiered on Valentine’s Day (February 14th), were quite eventful. By the end of the fourth episode, the couples residing in the villa were:
- Dom Gabriel and Francesca Farago
- Nick Uhlenhuth and Ines Tazi
- Kariselle Snow and Joey Sasso
- Chase DeMoor and Georgia Hassarati
- Shayne Jansen and Izzy Fairthorne
The latest batch of four episodes became available on Netflix yesterday (February 21st), and it’s apparent that the couples experienced a significant upheaval, as nearly all of the participants found themselves matched with new partners by the end. With only two episodes remaining until the conclusion of Perfect Match (set to release on February 28th), the current couples are:
- Dom Gabriel and Georgia Hassarati
- Francesca Farago and Abbey Humphreys
- Kariselle Snow and Joey Sasso
- Mitchell Eason and Chloe Vietch
- Diamond Jack and Will Richardson
- Ines Tazi and Damian Powers
The filming of Perfect Match occurred in early 2022, nearly a year before its release on the streaming platform. Therefore, the question remains: are any of the couples who participated in the show still in a relationship?
Kariselle Snow and Joey Sasso
Before entering the Perfect Match villa, Kariselle and Joey had a romantic relationship. However, Kariselle disclosed that their connection ended due to Joey’s “commitment issues.” By examining their Instagram accounts, it appears that Joey posted a snapshot of the two of them in July 2021, and even featured a photograph of them kissing in his 2021 highlights reel.
It seems that Perfect Match was recorded in early 2022, approximately a year before its Netflix debut. By the conclusion of the fourth episode, one couple had remained paired in the villa since the premiere (although the female contestant had kissed Chase), and they seemed to be progressing towards a fulfilling relationship. As the eighth episode concluded, the same couple was still together, occasionally flirting with other participants during in-house games, but ultimately choosing each other at the end of each night.
While they do not follow each other on Instagram at the moment, it is possible that they are still in a relationship. Is it feasible that they are the ideal match we’ve been waiting for?
Dom Gabriel and Georgia Hasaratti
In the villa, Dom had originally been matched with Francesca from the first episode. However, in the fifth episode, she opted to form a new pairing with Damian Powers – though she would switch again and couple up with Abbey later on (details to come).
When Francesca recoupled, Georgia opted to keep Dom in the villa by selecting him over Chase DeMoor. Despite Chase’s claim that Dom was playing a strategic game, Georgia still chose to stay coupled with him. Although the couple remained together throughout the latest episodes of Perfect Match, with Dom even asking Georgia to be his girlfriend while in the villa, it seems improbable that they are still together.
According to fan speculations based on Georgia’s social media posts in early 2023, she may have reunited with Harry Jowsey, whom she had dated in 2022. On Valentine’s Day, she posted a video of him, leading fans to believe that they are back together. Although Georgia and Dom still follow each other on social media and occasionally comment on each other’s posts, indicating a friendly relationship between them.
Chloe Veitch and Mitchell Eason
Although Chloe had initially connected with Nick Uhlenhuth, she became smitten with Mitchell Eason when he entered the Perfect Match villa, having previously flirted during their time on The Circle. It seemed as though they had officially begun dating in 2021, but Chloe later announced their breakup on Instagram, citing “pressure” and “distance” as the reasons.
It’s worth noting that some fans have pointed out that Chloe and Mitchell have shared photos from similar locations (such as Los Angeles) recently, suggesting that they might be spending time together. Additionally, Chloe’s caption on a set of photos from January 2023 – “POV: Pictures he took” – has led some to wonder if they are romantically involved once again. So, could Chloe and Mitchell be back together?
Francesca Farago and Abbey Humphreys
Francesca had quite the journey in the Perfect Match villa. She initially coupled up with Dom Gabriel before ditching him for Damian Powers, only to leave him as well for Abbey Humpreys. The two bonded over their shared experiences and challenges of living in a heteronormative society, and their relationship seemed to be flourishing. However, the final episodes of the show do reveal that Abbey is being tempted by Bartise Bowden’s interest, so it remains to be seen how that will impact their connection.
Social media fans have also raised questions about Abbey’s possible relationship with Nick, who was also a contestant on the show, but there is no confirmation regarding that.
Ines Tazi and Damian Powers
In the Perfect Match villa, Ines has gone through a transformation, beginning with her partnership with Nick Uhlenhuth, after which she started showing affection towards Shayne Jansen at the end of episode five. Despite appearing to have a good connection, she ends up coupling with Damian Powers towards the end of episode eight, after his separation from Francesca.
In January 2023, Ines posted a picture on Instagram that featured a cake with the message “Cheers to your break up”, indicating that she is currently single. Her caption read “Breaking up from whom I thought I needed to be :))) Cheers to the post-2023 era 🌹🌹🌹”.
Diamond Jack and Will Richardson
The Perfect Match villa has two new contestants, Diamond Jack from Love Is Blind and Will Richardson from The Mole. Although Will was initially attracted to Ines, he soon realizes that they are not compatible and starts to show interest in other contestants.
Is Diamond Jack the perfect match for Will Richardson? Fans are curious as the pair don’t reveal much on social media. Will recently tagged Diamond in an Instagram Story featuring a clip of them together on the show, but it’s uncertain if they’re romantically involved. Perhaps the next episodes of Perfect Match will provide some insight!
