Dolly Parton said that she wouldn’t eat anything that’s cooked by Miley Cyrus because it would “have no taste.”
We all know that Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus share an adorable bond. The pair often crack jokes about each other. They even co-hosted the “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party,” together recently.
Parton revealed to an Insider that she won’t dare to eat anything her goddaughter cooks. “I doubt I’d eat much of anything that Miley cooks ’cause it would have no taste,” Parton laughed.
“Even if she cooked me something, I’m sure I’d have to doctor it up a little for myself,” she added. “I would have to have some bacon grease.” She added.
The country-music icon is known for her cooking skills. Parton enjoys making everything from mac and cheese to a perfect plate of scrambled eggs.
“Miley’s trying to watch what she eats now — she’s gone through a lot of phases of being vegetarian or being vegan or whatever,” Parton further said. “But in the earlier days, or when her defenses are down, we still eat that good ol’ food like meatloaf.”
Dolly also revealed that she’s more than excited for her goddaughter to try her new line of Duncan Hines treats that includes brownie, biscuit and corn-bread mixes.
What does Dolly eat when on tour?
The 77-year-old singer recently revealed that she prefers her own home-cooked meals to consume, when on tour. The star expressed her love for chicken and dumplings. “I could eat that every day. That’s the type of stuff I put in my refrigerator when I’m on tour.” She said.
“You need a giant refrigerator because you don’t have the space or time to cook on a tour bus. I cook up a bunch of stuff when I’m on tour and traveling.” The star added.
