Former One Direction star Niall Horan released a new single, titled ‘Heaven,’ which will serve as the opening track for his upcoming album ‘The Show,’ on Friday.

Fans are already in love with the song whose chorus goes, “Doesn’t get, doesn’t get better than, better than this/ God only knows where this could go/ And even if our love starts to go out of control/ And you let me go up in flames/ Heaven won’t be the same.”

The star singer earlier announced that his highly anticipated third studio album, ‘The Show’ will be dropping on June 9. Niall also took to Instagram to release the cover art. “This album is a piece of work I’m so proud of and now it’s time to pass it over to you to go and make it your own,” Horan captioned. “Thank you so much for being there for me all this time and I can’t wait to share the next couple of years of this new era with you. I’ve missed you all so much. It’s good to be back.”

Was Niall scared to return to music?

Niall earlier penned a heartfelt note for his fans in which the singer shared, how it feels to return to music after a long gap.

“Firstly, thank you so much for being patient with me. I’ve since spent the past 18 months or so working on the next record. We spent a lot of time in L.A. making it and talk about an amazing trip to Joshua Tree in California to get away and really concentrate on everything. It was absolutely magic out there!” The star further wrote, “What makes this record incredibly special to me is it’s a reflection of where I am in my life today, as a person, a musician and of course as a songwriter. Can’t say I’m not a little nervous, but hopefully you’ll still like this version of me when you listen to the new record.”

“There’s something really scary about being away for so long and coming back with new music, but I couldn’t be more thankful for all you amazing people that stood by and supported me all of these years. I cannot wait to share the next few years with you in this era, making memories and madness with you,” he added.

Niall Horan’s third studio album drops on June 9, 2023.
