Jenna Ortega talked about what she went through, during the filming of Netflix‘s blockbuster “Wednesday.”

The superstar revealed how the intense filming schedule left her in tears. She said, “It was show up to set two hours early, do that 12-14 hour day, then go home and then get on a Zoom and have whatever lesson that I had. Or show up to my apartment, my cello teacher was already waiting for me. It was just constantly going, and if you could on a weekend, if we weren’t shooting the sixth day that week, it was ‘All right, well then, we’ll get your lessons in on that day.’”

The star who recently closed a deal with top sportswear brand Adidas, also talked about the sleepless nights she spent, taking cello and fencing lessons. She said, “I did not get any sleep. I pulled my hair out. There’s so many FaceTime calls that my dad answered of me hysterically crying. I didn’t know where my hands were even supposed to go and then I had to make two cellos come out of one cello, which was ridiculous.”

Jenna wanted to do as many action scenes as possible all by herself but the time constraints apparently didn’t allow her to do so. “We started running out of time because Wednesday’s in pretty much every scene,” Ortega said. “They had to start using stunt doubles or occasionally cello doubles if they didn’t have time to get hands, but I was very adamant about being as well prepared as possible because I wanted them to be able to use myself, because that’s so much more believable if you could see your face.”

What did Jenna Ortega say about season 2?

Netflix has announced the renewal of the superhit show, ‘Wednesday’ for a second season, last month. Since then, the buzz’s been about how the story is going to progress in the new season.

When Jenna was asked about it, the star cleverly dodged the question by saying that she has no idea about what happens in the next instalment. The actress also mentioned that she’s in no mood to deal with love triangles which “was a weird thing to justify,” and instead “just focus on her and her experiences.”

‘Wednesday’ was released on November 23, last year. It became a worldwide smash hit, breaking numerous records including most number of hours viewed in its debut week for an English series, surpassing “Stranger Things 4.”

Netflix announced that ‘Wednesday’ had been renewed for another season on January 6, this year.
