The ‘Easy On Me’ singer confirmed in her Las Vegas residency show on Friday that she would be present for the Super Bowl LVII in Phoenix next weekend just for the halftime show performance.
The Grammy winning singer told the audience, “I’m going just for Rihanna. I don’t give a flying freaking f—,”
Rihanna will be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show on February 12. The musical director of the show, Adam Blackstone declared that it would be epic! He earlier talked on ‘Good Morning America’ about the event. He said, “Let this be a moment in time that people will have never seen or heard before. We’re forcing the concert in the middle of the biggest sporting event in the world,”
Adele is attending the Grammys!
A news was circulated earlier on the internet that Adele wouldn’t be attending this year’s Grammy Awards but the singer denied all the rumors on her Las Vegas residency show and confirmed that she would indeed be attending the ceremony.
The star singer told the crowd, “Who said I wasn’t going to the Grammys? Man, whoever started that rumor is a d—head! ‘Cause I am going to the Grammys. I would never miss the Grammys. I would never be as disrespectful to the Grammys or to other artists. Whoever started that little story needs to go touch some grass.”
Adele is competing in six categories at this year’s Grammys including Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year for her album ’30’ and its lead single ‘Easy On Me’
The 65th Annual Grammy Awards are set to commence on February 5, 2023.
