Trevor Noah Teases a Surprise Performance from a ‘Favourite’ Female Artist

While the 65th Grammys are almost here, the host, Trevor Noah has teased a surprise performance from a fan favourite female artist in a recent podcast he talked on.

The recording academy has been announcing the names of performers from a few days. So far, artists like Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Lizzo, Sam Smith, Kim Petras, Mary J. Blige, Luke Combs, Steve Lucy, Brandi Carlile and more are confirmed to perform at the Crypto.com Arena. Now, another popular female artist is reportedly showing up at the ceremony to surprise the audience.

Noah, who has hosted the prestigious even twice in the past has revealed this news of surprise performance from a female musician on a podcast. He revealed, “One of your favorite performers is a woman, and that woman is going to be performing at the Grammys, then one of your other favorite performers is a man, and that man is going to be performing at the Grammys, and you’re going, Oh, but that could be anyone. But you know, it’s not anyone though because you’ve been listening to their album the whole year and it’s been huge.”

Is it Beyonce?

Fans are speculating that this ‘Favourite’ female Noah has teased is none other than Queen Beyonce herself, as the singer is the most nominated artist of the night and is yet to confirm her appearance. Fans are believing that the academy too hasn’t announced anything about the star’s attendance yet just to save it for later as a surprise.

Meanwhile, fans are also speculating that it might be the 3-time Album of the Year winner Taylor Swift. Taylor is competing in the ‘Song of the Year’ category for her song ‘All Too Well(10 minute version)’ The fans are expecting a potential live performance of her record breaking 10-minute song at the event.

Putting the theories aside, Trevor Noah has really upped the fans’ expectations with this reveal. We all cannot wait for the ceremony to commence!

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards are set to commence on February 5, 2023 at 7 PM EST.
