Dwayne Johnson, star of Black Adam, has stated that his mother, Ata Johnson, is “fine” after being hurt in a terrible vehicle accident on February 1 that severely wrecked her red Cadillac.
The star informed his Instagram fans of the news by writing, “Thank God, she is unharmed. When my mother was involved in an automobile accident late yesterday night, merciful angels protected her. She will live and keep getting checked out. This woman overcame lung cancer, a difficult marriage, a collision with a drunk driver, and a suicide attempt. She is a survivor in ways that confirm the existence of angels and miracles.” The Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department were also commended by Johnson for “being so concerned & dedicated” and “for remaining on the phone and walking me through it all.”
Johnson ended his tweet by pleading with his followers to love their parents rather than providing any additional information about the incident. If you still have your parents, give them a big embrace, since you never know when you’ll get the dreaded 3 a.m. call, he said. “I got one parent left,” he wrote. Rocky Johnson, the actor’s father, passed away from a pulmonary embolism in January 2020 at the age of 75.
Johnson has previously discussed the value of family in a plethora of interviews. In Young Rock, a famous NBC sitcom centred on his youth and early adulthood, the actor has also provided anecdotes and tales about his parents and upbringing.
Joseph Lee Anderson and Stacey Leilua play Johnson’s parents in the show.
Johnson, who is widely recognised as one of the all-time greatest professional wrestlers, has now made the move to a successful acting career. He has starred in a number of blockbuster films, including the Fast and Furious and Jumanji series. He recently starred in the DC superhero movie Black Adam, which brought in more than $390 million worldwide and welcomed back Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel. His next action-adventure Christmas movie Red One, which will make its Prime Video premiere during the 2023 holiday season, will be his next appearance. In the movie, Johnson plays E.L.F. Commander Callum Drift opposite Chris Evans’ Jack O’Malley and J. K. Simmons’ Santa Claus.
Johnson is a co-owner of the XFL, a professional American football league, whose 2023 season begins on February 18. Additionally, he established ZOA Energy and Teremana Tequila, two companies that produce energy drinks.
