The Recording Academy has announced the presenters line-up for the 65th Grammy Awards which are set to take place this Sunday, February 5 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The list is lead by the likes of past winners Cardi B, Olivia Rodrigo and Shania Twain.
James Corden, Billy Crystal, Viola Davis, Dwayne Johnson and Jill Baden are the other notable celebs in the list. Viola Davis is also competing in the category, “Spoken Word Album” for “Finding Me.” Davis could become only the 18th person ever to achieve the ‘EGOT’ if she scores a win, this year.
Trevor Noah will be returning as the host for the big night which will mark his third time here at the prestigious awards.
Some other nominees from the presenters include Crystal, as he will be competing in the Best Musical Theater Album category this year for his work, “Mr. Saturday Night.” He was nominated for Grammys in the past but hasn’t won any yet.
Cardi B will also be making her appearance as a presenter this year. The rapper’s only win at the show dates back to 2019 when she scored the win in the category Best Rap Album for her first studio album, “Invasion of Privacy.”
Olivia Rodrigo will be back!
Many eyes will be on the star singer Olivia Rodrigo, who has won three awards in the previous edition in the categories of Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for her album ‘Sour’ and its lead ‘Drivers License’. Fans have been anticipating new music from the star since last year. Hence, they’re all eagerly waiting for her appearance and are ready to catch hints from the singer, if she does drop any.
This year’s performers line-up include some big names like Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Lizzo, Sam Smith, Mary J Blige, Luke Combs and more.
Beyonce, who has announced her world tour yesterday, leads the nominations with nine nods for her album ‘Renaissance’ and is competing in all major categories. The 41-year-old singer is the female musician with most wins ever in the history of Grammys.
