This week saw the release of a shitload of brand-new pictures for the much anticipated fourth entry in the John Wick series, and if there’s one thing we can say about the upcoming Wickian adventure, it’s that it just looks fantastic.

In John Wick: Chapter 4 – Parabellum, the famed hitman, who simply wants to retire in peace, darn it, makes a comeback to take on the evil High Table while continuing the usual globetrotting. The primary characters can be seen in the photos in various Paris, France, locales. This time around, Ian McShane, who plays Winston, the intriguing and mysterious manager of The Continental hotel, the gathering place and shelter for Manhattan assassins, is to be extensively featured. He also looks quite sharp in his expertly tailored suits.

In addition to several shots of the movie’s director, Chad Stahelski, we also catch a look of newcomers Bill Skarsgrd, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, and Rina Sawayama, as well as Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King, who has reached an uneasy peace with Wick following the conclusion of Parabellum. While Anderson plays a role known as The Tracker, Skarsgrd plays Marquis de Gramont, an ambitious High Table member looking to advance his career by trying to assassinate Wick. Shimazu and Akira are the names given to the team of Sanada and Sawayama, respectively.

Donnie Yen, a great actor, will also be a part of the cast and take on the role of Caine. Scott Rogers, the stunt coordinator and second unit director, claims that Yen, a friend of Wick, a former assassin, and a member of the High Table, provides “master level fighting ability” to every movie he appears in.

Reeves has already expressed his excitement for the movie, which he called the most physically demanding of his career, in public. Reeves remarked, “They really schooled me up to be able to have what we call the toolbox. “We advanced the art of driving, which I truly like. There are 270s, 180s, forward-into-reverse 180s, and drifting. So having the opportunity to play and master those talents was a lot of joy.
